2 Floors of the best Bass-heavy music in town with lights and sound brought to you by the Philadelphia DJ Group.

$10 COVER, 21+

Philadelphia DJ Group - PDG is a free access, open-deck resource for DJs, with an emphasis on helping bedroom DJs get hands-on experience with club standard equipment and the support of long term and successful DJs. Each Thursday, they hang out at Saint Lazarus Bar to offer an open-deck night and like to surprise with the occasional DJ extraordinaire for all to hang out with, talk to, and commune with. They open up their decks for park parties on the 2nd Friday of the month in the summer as well as offer a workshop environment where experienced DJs offer their brains for new DJs to pick. Finally - they throw a quarterly event where DJs who have braved the open decks can show of their skills at a large-scale event. They offer sounds of every kind but promise - for this << REWIND - a bass-heavy night that might make panties drop.

Get involved - learn how here: http://www.meetup.com/phillydjgroup/members/199679864/

~Tropic of Bass~

Tropic of Bass has been running strong for over three years, packing out Washington DC's delightfully kooky Jimmy Valentine’s every time. Residents DJs BEATrix (DC), Mettabbana (DC), Teknacolor Ninja (Philly), and Illexxandra (NYC), each heavy hitters in their own scenes, come together to form the ultimate Voltron of all global parties. With a focus on bassy grooves, you’ll hear anything from club cumbia, moombahton, zouk bass, balkan beats, ragga, kuduro, kwaito, bachatas, dembow, merengaso, dancehall, bhangra bangers, afro-brazilian booty shakers and subcontinent slammers.

Connect with them to be sure you don't miss a beat.

[New Upload] Conscious Pilot - Fighting Chants 2016 VIP (Unsigned)

A new vibe for 2016.  Methodically covering a wider spectrum of sub bass frequency than the original, this one should sound good on pretty much any soundsystem.  A deeper vibe with a focus on tribal influenced percussion, yet a modestly heavy synth drops later to make this a bit of a hybrid DJ tool.  Enjoy!

Residing in Pennsylvania, Conscious Pilot is a Stateside producer/DJ who is known worldwide for representing the deep sounds of the underground. Early on as a D&B enthusiast he witnessed Dubstep's inception as it evolved from a dark vibe in London's UK Garage scene to its very own genre of electronic dance music. Dubstep was born, and in 2005 he joined in pushing this minimal madness to the masses. You may already be familiar with his radio show on the award winning Sub.FM, chart topping vinyl & digital releases, and renowned performances at events. If not, you’ll soon realize he is providing his own intelligently defined style of musical sustenance for this rapidly growing community.
