Philadelphia DJ Group - PDG is a free access, open-deck resource for DJs, with an emphasis on helping bedroom DJs get hands-on experience with club standard equipment and the support of long term and successful DJs. Each Thursday, they hang out at Saint Lazarus Bar to offer an open-deck night and like to surprise with the occasional DJ extraordinaire for all to hang out with, talk to, and commune with. They open up their decks for park parties on the 2nd Friday of the month in the summer as well as offer a workshop environment where experienced DJs offer their brains for new DJs to pick. Finally - they throw a quarterly event where DJs who have braved the open decks can show of their skills at a large-scale event. They offer sounds of every kind but promise - for this << REWIND - a bass-heavy night that might make panties drop.
